Ken Lewis of Gifted Tours is the sole U.K. Space Camp Ambassador for the S&RC. This appointment provides a very close working relationship with the organisation. With over 25 years of secondary school teaching experience, trips can be arranged competently to relieve teachers of much of the stress associated with school visits.

Counsellors
The Space & Rocket Centre management have rigid standards for hiring staff. Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of college education or equivalent experience. They must pass: Comprehensive background check, Pre-employment attitude test, Drug screening test. Before meeting any trainees they receive training in: Programme facts and history, Simulator safety and operation, Proper discipline techniques, Age-specific behaviour attitudes All counsellors are closely supervised and are weekly evaluated by their team members. Most are Education Majors, some are pursuing degrees in Business, Science, or Maths. All wish to work with children.

In association with ‘Holiday Direct’ all monies collected by the school will be sent directly to Holiday Direct Limited, holders of an independant trust account. This means in the unlikely event of company failure of either Gifted Tours, or Holiday Direct Limited, your money is safe.
